The service

MCP Config Generator is a free, browser-based tool that generates and validates Model Context Protocol server configs. No signup is required, and there are no usage limits.

Use at your own risk

The tool is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. You are responsible for reviewing any generated config before saving or deploying it.

User responsibilities

• Keep API tokens and other secrets safe and out of public repositories.
• Do not commit generated configs that contain credentials.
• Verify that a generated config matches your client's expected format before use.
• Do not use the tool for unlawful purposes.

Intellectual property

The site content and tool logic are provided for use under the project license. Configs you generate belong to you, and you are responsible for their contents.

Claude, Cursor, VS Code, Windsurf, Cline, Zed, and other client names are trademarks of their respective owners. They are referenced here solely for compatibility purposes. This site is not affiliated with Anthropic, Anysphere, Microsoft, Codeium, or Zed Industries.

Disclaimer of warranties

We make no warranty that the tool will be accurate, reliable, error-free, or suitable for your particular purpose. You use it entirely at your own discretion.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the tool or any config generated by it.

Changes to terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
